Child Safety Standards

Last updated September 29, 2026

Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Exchange Year has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any content that sexualises minors.

Our standards

  • Content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors is prohibited under our Terms and Conditions.
  • We remove such content as soon as we become aware of it and permanently ban the accounts involved.
  • We report apparent CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement, as required by law.

How to report

If you see content or behaviour on Exchange Year that may put a child at risk, email hello@exyexchange.com with a description and, if possible, the name of the account involved. Reports are reviewed promptly and handled confidentially.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
