Delete Your Account

You can ask us to delete your Exchange Year account and the personal data linked to it at any time.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to hello@exyexchange.com from the email address you use to sign in to Exchange Year.
2. Use the subject line "Delete my account".
3. We will confirm the request and complete it within 30 days.

What we delete

• Your account and profile (name, email, phone, bio, profile photo).
• Your Photo Booth posts, likes and follows.
• Your verification documents.
• Your program applications.
• Your sign-in record with our authentication provider (Google Firebase).

What we may keep

Limited records we are legally required to retain, and server security logs, which are deleted automatically within 90 days.

Data stored on your device

Time capsule notes and other on-device data are removed when you uninstall the app.

Deleting individual posts

You do not need to delete your account to remove a post. Open the post in the app and choose Delete.
